High School Graduation Requirements

OCDSB students can graduate high school by earning an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), an Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC) or a Certificate of Accomplishment (COA). 

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 

To earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), students must earn:

• Compulsory credits
• Optional credits
• Literacy requirement
• Online learning credits
• Community involvement hours.
